Sober Companion
A Sober Companion provides time-intensive service. When the client is best served by around-the-clock attendance, we make all the difference in the world.Our staff is available for local, national, and international travel. The Companion's primary duties include:
- Providing a crucial service for those resistant to remaining abstinent, but who must do so due to legal, medical, family or contractual obligations.
- Integrating a newly sober person into a healthy environment after detox and/or residential treatment for addiction or alcoholism.
- Encouraging your individuality while reinforcing the positive results of continued abstinence.
- Reminding the client of the negative consequences of relapse.
- A Sober Companion is particularly adept at running interference between the client and those who seek to provide drugs and/or alcohol to him or her.
- A Sober Companion provides a sense of real companionship and camaraderie.
