San Francisco native, musician, and recovering addict, Douglas Caine has many years of experience in  recovery.  His work with musicians, actors and executives has earned him an outstanding reputation in treatment. Doug journeyed from homelessness, addiction and incarceration to become a  respected  treatment professional. Maritza Exarchos, another Northern California native, is a working actress and model. As a Sober Companion, she works with recovering women in the early stages, coaching them in relapse prevention and self-esteem building. From her early days as an outreach worker at the Berkeley Free Clinic to her career as a Sober Companion, Martiza Exarchos is a gold mine to other young women seeking treatment and recovery from alcoholism and addiction.

Los Angeles native David Behar, MFT boasts a 20-year career covers psychotherapy, substance abuse counseling, and case management.  David began serving members of the recovery community many years ago - in private practice and institutional settings.  Dave will call upon a Sober Companion for extra assistance with clients in recovery, and we feel more than confident calling upon his wisdom and expertise time and time again. David supervises our New York Sober Champion staff.

As an artist and creator of models for feature films, Pollyanne Hornbeck has extensive experience working with entertainment executives and other creative types. Pollyanne has been in recovery since 1999, and has provided many years of firm and loving service to women seeking relief from their addictions. Dr. Bradley Fazekas began his career in the healing arts over two decades ago, and he  has been in recovery since 1987.  In private practice, he maintains two offices, both conveniently located to many of our Los Angeles clients.  Dr. Fazekas also can travel to a client site.  As a teacher at Cleveland College and through passionate devotion to his practice, Brad Fazekas maintains the highest standards for client care.

Chicago native Stacy Matulis, a highly educated and accomplished vocalist, is an ideal resource for men and women seeking non-standard treatments for their obsessive/compulsive behaviors. In addition to Social Work with chronic drug abusers in the Chicago area, Stacey credits her practice and teaching of Kundalini, Anusara, and Ashtanga Yoga with her recovery from binge eating and anorexia.  Stacy is uniquely qualified to provide Yoga and Body Healing instruction to our clients.
